The St. Croix Environmental Association (SEA) presents 2018 International Coastal Clean-up Day to be held from 8-10 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 15, at Southgate Coastal Reserve. Join the international effort to clean the coastlines while showing love for St. Croix by cleaning litter from an important sea turtle nesting beach. SEA will provide bags, gloves and drinking water.

Coastweeks is coordinated locally by the Virgin Islands Marine Advisory Service (VIMAS) and internationally by The Ocean Conservancy.

Following the clean-up there will be a free public snorkel clinic from 10 a.m. to noon. People are invited to learn to snorkel or advance their skills for fun with friends. School-aged children and adults are welcome. SEA will provide instruction, gear and guides. Registration is not required, but it is always appreciated. Keep St. Croix Beautiful.
