Blue Campaign Roundtable to Discuss Human Trafficking, Awareness and Prevention

The United States Attorney’s Office for the U.S. Virgin Islands will host a Human Trafficking Awareness and Prevention Roundtable from 2-4 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 13, at Ron De Lugo Federal Building, 5500 Veterans Drive, Charlotte Amalie.

The roundtable will feature participation by The U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Blue Campaign, ICE Homeland Security Investigations USVI Field Office, The Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, Office of the U.S. Attorney and other speakers who are in the process of being confirmed.

There will be a robust discussion on the progress that has been made to combat human trafficking. The conversation will focus on identifying the gaps and needs that remain as well as potential solutions for a path forward.

This event is open to the public and the media is welcome to attend.
