VIWMA Appoints Adrian Taylor as Interim Executive Director

Virgin Islands Waste Management Authority

The Virgin Islands Waste Management Authority (VIWMA or Authority) Preserving Paradise Team informs the community that its board of directors has appointed Adrian Taylor as the Authority’s new interim executive director. Taylor presently is employed by VIWMA as director of disposal for the Solid Waste Division.

Taylor brings a wealth of experience to the Preserving Paradise Team. He has extensive knowledge in the waste management industry, solid waste collections, and landfill construction and design. He served as streets sdministrator at the Department of Public Works in the City of Richmond, Virginia. He has a degree in construction management from Kennedy Western University. He said he is eager to serve in this leadership role and looks forward to aiding the Authority with moving forward.

The VIWMA Board of Directors welcomes Adrian Taylor, while preparing to seek candidates to permanently lead the Authority.
