Crucita Rosa Osorio

Crucita Rosa Osorio died suddenly on June 22 to rest in the arms of the Saviour. Crucita was a beloved and dedicated wife, a nurturing mother, a loving sister, aunt and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Faustina Osorio; father, Evangelio Osorio; brother, Juan Osorio; sister, Paula Osorio; and stepdaughter, Carmen Garcia.

She is survived by her spouse, Etanislao Rosa-Rios, son, Orlando Rosa; stepsons: Etanislao Rosa Jr., Manuel Rosa and Jose Rosa; daughters: Olga and Sonia Rosa; stepdaughters: Lolita Rosa and Angelita Rosa; grandchildren: Jose A. Cruz (Tenn.), Suehayry Cruz (Fla.), Pedro Rosa (Tenn.), Jordy Nunez (S.D.), Jordia Nunez, (Tenn.), Alexjandro Garcia (Fla.), Cassandra Hughley (Fla.), Luis Garcia (Fla.), Rodolfo Garcia (Fla.), Adelina Smith (St, Thomas), Denise Rosa, Paquita Rosa, Gloria Rosa, Yolanda Jarvis, Jadah Jarvis, Yashira King, Kiara Abramson, Jamal Rosa (Md.), Orlando Rosa, Jr. (Md.) and Keanu Rosa (Md.); sister, Maria T. Morales (P.R.);

She is also survived by sons-in-law: Eustace Jarvis, Enrique Nazario-Ramos, Edwardo Montes and Hilario Carpio (Fla.); daughters-in-law: Nora Rosa and Carol Rosa (Md.); sister-in-law, Ana Luz Ramos (P.R.); nieces: Arcadia Rosa (N.J.), Alicia Corcino (VQZ), Mercedes Rosa, Daisy Ramos (P.R.), Luz Figueroa (P.R.) and Sonia Figueroa (P.R.); special niece, Edith Figueroa (P.R.), great nieces: Yesenia Torres-Figueroa (P.R.), Marielys Torres-Figueroa (Ohio), Ivonne Hernandez-Figueroa (Mass.), Brenda Corcino (VQZ) and Denise Mercado (P.R.); nephews: Jose Rosa, Wilberto Ramos (P.R.), Felix Ramos Jr. (P.R.) and Edwin Figueroa (P.R.);

Other survivors include great nephews: Luis Carrasquillo (Fla.), Wilfredo Carrasquillo (Fla.), Wilfredo Corcino Jr. (VQZ), Leonardo (P.R.), Jose Oscar (P.R.), Omar (P.R.), Ruben (Ohio) and Raul Hernandez Jr. (Md.), Kelvin and Juan Carlos Mercado (P.R.), Carlos and Edgar Crispin; special friends: Celestina Solis, Carmen Ortiz Sanes “Miña,” Idelia Abreus De Ramos and family, Mirtha Sanchez Paulino, Fuentes family, Whyte family, Shelly Bachoo, Bienvenido Chico, Olga Santiago and family, Alphonse/ Jean-Pierre family, Narvaez/Calderon family, Pastor Andres Robles and the Brethren of the Iglesia de Dios Pentecostal, MI-La Hermosa; as well as many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

The viewing will commence at 9 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 10 a.m. on July 5, at Iglesia De Dios Pentecostal, MI-La Hermosa (Clifton Hill). Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
