Viya reminds Lifeline customers they should be aware of their recertification date to ensure that they retain their current service and avoid disconnection. Recertification of some customers is due before May 31.
Landline Lifeline customers should refer to the mailed notice to determine when to come in to Viya’s Customer Experience Center to recertify. Wireless Lifeline customers should refer to the SMS text messages sent on their device to determine when to come in to recertify. Wireless customers may also be notified via automated calls or phone calls from Viya personnel.
For recertification, Lifeline customers must visit the Viya Customer Experience Center between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, in their respective district: Tutu Park on St. Thomas and Estate Diamond on St. Croix.
