Joseph O’neal Christopher, also known as “Joey,” of Frederiksted, St. Croix, died in New York on Monday, March 26. He was 60 years old.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alfred Christopher Sr.
He is survived by his mother, Aida Rodriguez-Christopher; sons: Tafari Christopher and Nile Christopher; daughters: Cherisse Christopher, Adisa Browne, Monica Christopher and Shanese Christopher; sons-in-law: Jamal Browne and Deon Evans; brothers: Alfred Christopher Jr., Russell Christopher and Ronald Christopher; sisters: Barbara Christopher-Perkins, Sherrall Christopher-Williams and Agnes Christopher-Coleman; uncle, Joseph Christopher Sr.; aunt, Olga Bermudez-Colon; brother-in-law: John Perkins; sister-in-law, Berecia Christopher; six grandchildren; seven nieces and nine nephews.
He is also survived by the following extended families: the Milligans, the Gautiers, the Rodriguezes, Bernard and Francisca Farrelly, Charlene Henderson; special friends and families: Maude Roberts, the Thomases, the Bryans, the Richardses, Gladys Miller, Melita Menders, Paul Christopher, Louis Monell, Butchie Hodge, Miguel Correa and Nene; as well as other family and friends too numerous to mention.
