Lieutenant Governor Announces Increase in Passport Fees

United States Virgin Islands Office of the Lieutenant Governor

The U.S. Department of State has increased passport execution fees from $25 to $35, effective April 2.  The $10 increase will only apply to U.S. passport applicants who are required to apply using the DS-11 form in person at the passport acceptance facility.  These applicants include:

    Minors

    First-time adults (16 years and older)

    Applicants who have lost their passport

    Applicants that wish to replace a stolen passport

The $10 fee increase is not applicable to adults that use the DS-82 form to submit renewal applications by mail, according to a press release from the Office of the Lieutenant Governor — Passport Acceptance Facilities in the territory
