SBA Opens Disaster Loan Outreach Center on St. Croix

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) opened an SBA Disaster Loan Outreach Center (DLOC) on Wednesday, March 14, at the VIYA Building, Christiansted, St. Croix.  SBA staff remains on St. Croix to assist survivors impacted by hurricanes Irma and Maria. 

SBA representatives at the Disaster Loan Outreach Center (DLOC) can provide information about disaster loans, answer questions and assist in completing the SBA application.  The center is located as indicated below and will operate until further notice with corrected hours of operation as noted below:

St. Croix

VIYA Building, 7G & 7H Estate Diamond, Pepper Tree Road (Lobby), Christiansted, St. Croix, VI 00820

Open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m./ Saturday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m./ closed on Sunday

 Applicants may apply online using the Electronic Loan Application (ELA) via SBA’s secure website at www.DisasterLoan.sba.gov.

Additional details on the locations of Disaster Recovery Centers (DRCs) and the loan application process can be obtained by calling the SBA Customer Service Center at 800-659-2955 (800-877-8339 for the deaf and hard of hearing) or by sending an email to disastercustomerservice@sba.gov

Loan applications can also be downloaded at www.sba.gov. Completed applications should be returned to the center or mailed to: U.S. Small Business Administration, Processing and Disbursement Center, 14925 Kingsport Road, Fort Worth, TX 76155.

The deadline to return economic injury applications for Hurricane Irma is June 7, and Hurricane Maria is June 20.
