Grittley Frances Yvonne Lewis Dies at 77

 

Grittley Frances Yvonne Lewis

Grittley Frances Yvonne Lewis, also known as “Fan,” of Strawberry Hill died on Dec. 24, 2017. She was 77 years old.

She is survived by her husband, Norris “Pretty Boy” Lewis; daughters: Natalie Lewis, Marcia Lewis, Sonia Lewis, Faith Lewis Hyligar, Eloise Lewis Reynolds and Eve Graham; son, Gregory Lewis; and grandchildren: Neville Hodge, Jovan Lewis, Marcello Jacobs, Robert Lewis, Alston and Maurice Jones, Darnell Lewis, Gregory Lewis, Tahira Cabret, Aneisha Lewis, Natalie Nora Lewis, Shanequa Lewis, Malisha Hyligar Johnson, Keisha Garvey, Dylan Garvey, Lamar Garvey, Carolyn Reynolds and Mecca Collier.

She is also survived by great-grandchildren: Marcello Jhordan Jacobs, Hijary Taylor, Dequan Ross, Sydney Johnson, Jordan Johnson, Mason Johnson, Lilia Lewis, Neville Hodge Jr., Reyquan Lewis and Samantha St. Luce; sister, Amalika Bute; brothers: Arthur Bute, Belto Bute and Benito Bute; sister-in-law, Glennis Guishard; nephew, Jeremiah Guishard; daughter-in-law, Valentina De La Cruz; brothers-in-law: Charles Lewis and Radrick Peters; and sisters-in-law: Anita Tomlinson and Ramona Jeffers.

Other survivors include special friends: Indita Hazell, Mrs. Blake, Mrs. Wilson, the Brown family, Chapman, the Tutein family, Jusel Morales, the Boyce family, the Richards family and Emmet Hansen; caretakers: Jenny Rivera, Shevonne Fredericks, Lisa Rivera and Carol Bideau; cousins and other relatives: the Boddie family, the Guishard family, the Gilbert family and the Liburd family; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

A viewing will take place at 10:30 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11:30 a.m., on Friday, Jan. 12, at the New Testament Church of God,     Estate Whim, Frederiksted. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
