Pastor Leon A. George Sr., age 67, died at his home on St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, on Saturday, Oct. 21.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Rosie; son, Leon George Jr.; daughters: Emerald and Shirlyn; granddaughters: Jaslyn and Maya; his three brothers and four sisters, as well as many nieces and nephews too numerous to mention.
Leon will be remembered as a bright, humble, visionary in the various communities and churches in which he served.
A viewing will take place from 9-11 a.m. followed by funeral services at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 7, at the Church of God (Holiness), St. Croix.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Church of God (Holiness) Academy Building Fund.
