Marion D. Lynch-Moore Dies at 84

Marion D. Lynch-Moore

Marion D. Lynch-Moore of Estate Whim died on Oct. 14. She was 84 years.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Lynch; mother, Elsa Francis; daughter, Christina McBean; grandson, Morrell Meyers Jr.; great-great-grandson, Zahir Frazer; sister, Ruth Lynch-Thomas; and brother, Herman Lynch Sr.

She is survived by her sons: Morrell Meyers Sr. and Wayne Henry; grandchildren: Sherene Frazer, Timesha Meyers, Shenell Meyers, Monique Meyers, Nkrumah Russell, Shamoya Prince, Kiante Meyers, Latasha Henry and Rihana Henry; great-grandchildren: R’vante Frazer, Christina Frazer, Devonte Haley, Jalen Chinnery, Cherish Meyers, Mahsai Meyers, Makari Meyers, Rachel Marius, Zaniyah Prince, Kristina Meyers and Zenée Christensen; great-great-grandchild, Zariyah Allen; adopted grandchildren: Emile Henderson Jr., Alvin Milligan, Natasha Henderson, Dynell Williams and Rebecca Estrill; sisters: Eglantine Romney and Evelyn Miranda.

She is also survived by brothers: Eric Lynch Sr., Ralph Lynch, Ruben Lynch Jr. and Daryl “Mickey” Lynch; nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews too numerous to mention; daughter-in-law, Rose Meyers; sisters-in-law: Mildred Lynch, Ozelle Lynch, Leona Lynch, Corrine Lynch and Brenda Lynch; brother-in-law, Alphonso “Skipio” Thomas; godchildren: Glenice Parris, Clintona Haywood, Claire Malone, Meazle Bastian, Trisha Hodge Dennis, Dorette Roberts, Bernard Brown, Shanice Hendrick, Ebony Hodge, Malachi Hosford, Khaleen Samuel, Shaina Jarvis; and other godchildren too numerous to mention. More survivors include special friends: Corrine Messer, Inez Hinds, Janet Hansby and family, the Blyden family, Helen Wells, Jean Prince, Inez Armstrong, Almira McIntosh, Aldora Fleming and family, Ann Martin, Eleanor Williams, Irene Mason and family, Julie Pakey and family, Carvel and family, Antonette Petrus and family, Maria Thomas-Lewis, Shelia and family, Mr. Titus, Mr. Desouza, Marion, Ellis and family, Annie and family, Joseph and Lavane Hodge.

More survivors include special friends: Corrine Messer, Inez Hinds, Janet Hansby and family, the Blyden family, Helen Wells, Jean Prince, Inez Armstrong, Almira McIntosh, Aldora Fleming and family, Ann Martin, Eleanor Williams, Irene Mason and family, Julie Pakey and family, Carvel and family, Antonette Petrus and family, Maria Thomas-Lewis, Shelia and family, Mr. Titus, Mr. Desouza, Marion, Ellis and family, Annie and family, Joseph and Lavane Hodge.

Tributes will begin at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 9, at St. Gerard’s Hall, Frederiksted. Interment will be at Frederiksted Cemetery.

    I’m sorry I wasn’t there. I miss you much. You and aunty Ruth may Allah rest her soul as well were always good to me. I pray you both are in paradise. I was looking for my cousin and I found you and seen that aunty Ruth had passed to. This is your nephew Teeny son Noel aka Malik.
