Board of Education Concluding the Processing of Scholarship, Financial Aid Checks for Recipients

Virgin Islands Board of Education

The 18th Virgin Islands Board of Education (VIBE) advises all 2017 Scholarship and Financial Aid Recipients who have not yet received their 2017 Scholarship and Financial Aid Awards that VIBE is working with officials of the Department of Finance and others to conclude processing of the 2017 scholarship checks, financial aid checks and other financial transactions.

VIBE does not yet know when the pending scholarship and financial aid checks will be released by Finance; however, as soon as additional information is available about the remainder of the 2017 scholarship and financial aid checks, VIBE will contact the affected recipients.

Accordingly, VIBE urges recipients to ensure that VIBE has their updated contact information and that they have submitted to VIBE all required information and/or documentation to facilitate the processing and approval of their scholarship and financial aid awards.   Accordingly, VIBE’s 2017 Scholarship and Financial Aid season will close on Oct. 27.

For additional information and/or inquiries about this matter, contact VIBE by emailing stt@myviboe.com  or stx@myviboe.com; contact VIBE by calling at 473-7596/473-7760 (St. Thomas-St. John) or 473-7542/ 473-7522  (St. Croix); or come into VIBE’s St. Thomas-St. John Office at 60B, 61 and 62 Dronningens Gade (Seventh-day Adventist Street), St. Thomas, Virgin Islands or VIBE’s new location at 6 King Street and 3A King Cross Street, Christiansted, St. Croix (directly across from the Florence A.S. Williams Library).
