Scotiabank Presents Check to Virgin Islands for Veterans Inc.

Scotiabank continued its commitment to organizations in the Virgin Islands community with a donation to Virgin Islands for Veterans Inc. (VI4Vets Inc.). The presentation took place at Scotiabank’s Altona branch on St. Thomas.

The veterans’ organization is a veteran operated and organized nonprofit public charity that was developed by veterans for service members, fellow veterans and their family members. It is dedicated to improving the quality of life and care for veterans living in the territory.

“It is always exciting when we can give back to the communities in which we serve. With this donation, Scotiabank confirms our commitment to organizations that promote a better quality of life for veterans and their families,” said Christine N. Lee, marketing officer, Scotiabank USVI.

“The support and generosity of Scotiabank reinforces the Virgin Islands’ commitment to service members, veterans and their families. This donation will support VI4Vets Inc.’s community outreach efforts and services to its members,” said Jon Rich, executive director of VI4Vets Inc.
