Maria Veronica Ventura Bermudez Dies

Maria Veronica Ventura Bermudez

Maria Veronica Ventura Bermudez died on July 8.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Josefina Parrilla; father, Ventura Ventura; and daughter, Maria Bermudez-Smith.

She is survived by her daughters: Zulema Bermudez, Zoraida Bermudez, Charleen Isaac and Lynda “Nikki” Brooks-Rey; sons: David Bermudez and Jose Bermudez Jr.; and grandchildren: David Goodings, Melvin Nicholas, Alvin Bernard, Monica Allen, Karishma Crooke, Jumaaneh Grant, Grace Constance, Alan Stoute, Sharima Bermudez- Diaz, Sherice Bermudez, Marc-henri Constable, Jahzyrah Abrams, Jabari Giddings, David Bermudez, Renee Bermudez, Sjhon Peterse and Michael Bermudez.

She is also survived by brothers: Fernando Encarnacion and Evaristo Ventura; sisters: Luz D. Ventura, Dalila Encarnacion, Luz E. Encarnacion, Noemi Encarnacion and Milagro J. Gonzalez; aunt, Gladdis Sylvester; uncle, Angel Louie Parrilla; 27 nieces; cousins: too numerous to mention; special friends: Ralph De Chabert and The Hamilton Jackson Terrace Community, Leslie Hatchett, Elwyn Browne, Ronae Burke, Diana Hazel, Julia Bermudez, Ada Brooks, Junior Rivera and Stephanie Williams; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

The viewing will be held at 9:45 a.m. and the funeral service at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 13, at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
