Harvey R. Freeman Dies

Harvey R. Freeman died on March 31.

He is preceded in death by his brothers: Roy “Problem” Freeman, Joseph Freeman, Stanley Freeman and Emmanuel “Lell” Freeman.

He is survived by his spouse, Gloria-Jean Freeman; daughters: Carla Freeman, Hester Freeman and Kate Freeman; son, Hulet Freeman; grandchildren: Trevlin Kirby, Tatiyana Kirby, Kyle Freeman and Kaleb Freeman; and sisters: Olivia Maynard, Viola Barnes, Rhoda Procope, Agnes Chapman, Esther Merrick and Ruth Freeman-Dasent.

He is also survived by nieces: Ruthlyn “Joan” Archibald, Jacqueline Freeman, Judith Freeman, Jacinth Martin, Jacqueline Liburd, Juliet Maynard-Webster, Yasmin Nisbett, Jacinth Maynard, Lineth Williams, Jennifer Barnes, Macie Pantophlet-Barnes, Lilette Liburd-Lewis, Linda Chapman-Strickland, Inga Chapman, Michelle Adrienne Merrick, Tamisha Bradley, Rivkah Freeman-Harding and Tzivia Freeman Dasent.

More survivors include nephews: Hilton Shephard, Frederick “Gailey” Freeman, Livingston Freeman, Eugene T. Freeman Sr., Warren T.A. Freeman Sr., Kingsley Freeman, Roy Barnes, Roger Barnes, Ricky Liburd, Elroy Liburd, Edward Chapman Jr., Jason A. Merrick, Sheldon Freeman, Rowan Freeman, Gabriel Pines, Wayne Jones and Lyndon Kelly; and great nieces: Sheila Archibald, Shanda Freeman, Amiquah Freeman, Chanae Freeman, Amishah Freeman, Mallinda Liburd, Yolinda Liburd and Jaivenese Archibald.

Other survivors include great nephews: Elroy Archibald, Yvette Liburd, Devin Archibald, Kevin Archibald, Westly Huggins, Shawn Freeman, Rayvon Freeman, Tajh Freeman (deceased), Eugene Freeman Jr., Warren Freeman Jr., Wanda Freeman, Everton Liburd Jr., Tacory T. Archibald, Tequan O. Archibald, Devondre Archibald and Kevonte Archibald; special friends: James Chapman and family and Sinclair Browne; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

A viewing will take place from 3-5 p.m., Friday, April 21, at Divine Funeral Services Chapel. A second viewing will be held at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m., Saturday, April 22, at Beeston Hill Wesleyan Holiness Church, 1A Estate Beeston Hill. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
