A Science Cafe Event About Corals Set for April 20 at Iggies

    Join UVI Master of Marine and Environmental Science graduate students for an evening of “Corals & Cocktails” on Thursday, April 20, at Iggies Beach Bar.

    Graduate students Alexandra Gutting, Vernita Smith and Elizabeth Smith will discuss their research on corals in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Afterwards, there will be trivia, games and karaoke.

    There will be lots of prizes including a Top Sails full-day sail, a Coki Beach Dive Shop Discover Scuba Diving package, and more.

    Virgin Islands Experimental Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (VI-EPSCoR) hosts regular Science Café events on all three islands to engage the community in the world-class marine research taking place at UVI.
