The V.I. Economic Development Commission (VIEDC), a subsidiary of the U.S. Virgin Islands Economic Development Authority (USVIEDA), will hold a decision meeting and then a public hearing on Thursday, April 6. The meeting will address compliance matters for beneficiaries: CBI Acquisitions LLC, Healthquest Inc. and St. Croix Renaissance; and on applications for tax incentive benefits: CBI Acquisitions LLC and White Bay Group USVI LLLP. A decision meeting of the Enterprise Zone Commission (EZC) will also be held.
The VIEDC decision meeting will begin at 9 a.m. at the William D. Roebuck Industrial Park at No. 4 Negro Bay, Building No. 2, Frederiksted, St. Croix. There will be a video conference feed to the USVIEDA office at 8000 Nisky Shopping Center, 2nd floor, Suite No. 620, St. Thomas.

A public hearing by the VIEDC will begin at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 6, at 8000 Nisky Shopping Center, 2nd floor, Suite No. 620, St. Thomas. There will be a video conference feed to the William D. Roebuck Industrial Park at No. 4 Negro Bay, Building No. 2, Frederiksted, St. Croix. The meetings will be on applications from these businesses:
A). CBI Acquisitions LLC (Modification/Extension Application) – Hotel/ Resort on St. John, USVI
B). Sugar Bay Club and Resort Corp. (Modification/Extension Application) – Hotel/Guesthouse on St. Thomas, USVI
C). White Bay Group USVI LLLP (Transfer) – Financial Services/Business Management Services on St. Thomas, USVI

Any person, firm or corporation interested in the approval or disapproval of the application may appear and be heard provided that a written statement is submitted at least one day prior to the hearing to the Chief Executive Officer of the U.S. Virgin Islands Economic Development Authority at No. 116 King St., Frederiksted, St. Croix, USVI 00840 (or via fax to 773-7701); or at 8000 Nisky Shopping Center, Suite No. 620, St. Thomas, USVI 00802 (or via fax at 774-8106).
The USVIEDA Board of Directors and its subsidiary board(s) may go into executive session with respect to any decision at any time during the meetings as provided in the law.
