Police Seek Man Wanted in Domestic Assault

Police are looking Tuesday for Jamal Gould, 33, who is wanted in a domestic violence case.

According to the V.I. Police Department, Gould assaulted his girlfriend on March 1 by punching her several times in the face, kicking her several times while she was on the floor and slamming her head on the floor. The police report said she sustained an injury to the forehead.

Gould is a black male who stands 6 feet, 3 inches tall and weighs 262 pounds, according to police. He has low-cut black hair, and  frequents the Consumer Gas Station, Estate Grove and Frederiksted town.

Police urged anyone with information on Gould’s whereabouts to contact the VIPD Criminal Investigation Bureau, Domestic Violence Unit, 340-778-2211, the 911 emergency call center, or the anonymous tip service, Crime Stoppers USVI, at 1-800-222-8477.
