Hugo Jackson Dies

Hugo Jackson

Hugo Jackson of Estate Whim died on Feb. 11.

He is survived by his wife, Flossie Jackson; daughters: Guillermina (Giga) Powell, Ruby Jackson, Wendy Jackson and Macy Jackson; sons: Thomas (Adrian) Jackson, Robin Jackson and Jack Jackson; stepson, Frank Banks Sr.; daughters-in-law: Priscilla Jackson and Debbie Jackson; and grandchildren: Warren and Cyrene Powell, Ariann Hugee, Eric and Matthew Jackson, Robert Young-Jackson, Khiema Mills, Khyem Sewer, Hilda Millin-Trottie, Creqom Payne, Kshiam Bradshaw, Frank Banks Jr., Krystal and Kevin Harp, and Yolanda and Cheryl Banks.

He is also survived by granddaughter-in-law, Theodora Banks; great-grandchildren: Anari  Hugee, Jordyn Jackson, Rodney James Jr., Khaya Allong, Jaheel and Jhanai Sewer, Ayanna and Areil Millin, Malik, Sadeem, Aliyah and Aminah Payne, Nasir and Nia Bradshaw, Annbiya Trottie, Frank Banks III, T’Keyah, and Antonio and Leland Banks; nieces: Sheryl and Una Jackson, and Nettie Williams; nephews: Roy Hendrickson, Valdemar Jackson and Ricardo Jackson Jr.; great nieces and nephews too numerous to mention; and cousins too numerous to mention.

Other survivors include other relatives: Margarita Bramble, Janette Morton, Thomas family, Powell family, Herbert family, Jackson family, Allen family (Illinois), Barnes family (Illinois); special friends: Vernon Hurley, Eslyn Albert and family, Pastor and Mrs. Walwyn, Paula and Tommy Broadnax (Georgia), Daisy Harp (Georgia), Albert and Mary Ann Weeks, Sarah James, St. Luke A.M.E. Church and Grace Baptist Central Church; as well as other family and friends too numerous to mention;

Special thanks to Continuum Care Hospice and Home Care.

The viewing will take place at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 22, at St. Luke A.M.E. Church, Estate Grove Place. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
