Man Charged with Stabbing Girlfriend

Joseph Brow, 31, was arrested on Monday and charged him with stabbing his girlfriend with a broken bottle, according to the Virgin Islands Police Department.

According to police, the woman, whose name was withheld, walked into the Wilbur Francis Command about 6 p.m. Monday said that at around noon in Estate Grove Place, her boyfriend choked her, brandished a pistol at her and stabbed her with a broken bottle.

Patrol units were notified of the suspect’s identity and place of residence at approximately 8:10 p.m. and apprehended the suspect, identified as Brow, that evening.

Brow was arrested and charged with second-degree assault. Bail was set at $50,000, and he was remanded to Bureau of Corrections.
