VIWMA: Transfer Stations, Bin Sites Are Not Accepting Green Waste

The V.I. Waste Management Authority (VIWMA) advises the St. Croix community, solid waste haulers and landscapers that the St. Croix Transfer Station, Peter’s Rest Convenience Center (PRCC) and bin sites will still not be accepting green waste.

Haulers of solid waste and landscapers are reminded that the use of public collection sites (including PRCC and bin sites) to dispose of green waste is prohibited and subject to penalties.

VIWMA is also asking residents to refrain from disposing of yard waste at the public collection sites, to include PRCC and bin sites. The public is asked to keep green waste on their property until further notice.
