Four Injured in Nightclub Shooting

Two women and two men at a Kingshill nightclub were injured early Sunday when shots were fired from the entrance into the building, the V.I. Police Department reported.

According to police, units from the Marshall Command Station were dispatched at about 3:51 a.m. to the Corner Pocket Nightclub in Kingshill, where callers to 911 reported four gunshot wound victims. At the scene officers learned that several shots had been discharged from the club entrance door.

Names of the victims were not released by the VIPD.

The individuals were transported to the Juan F. Luis Hospital, two by ambulance by and two by private vehicle. All four victims were treated at the hospital for non-fatal injuries.

The Criminal Investigation Bureau is investigating and urged anyone with information on the case to call 340-778-2211, the 911 emergency call center or the anonymous tip service, Crime Stoppers VI, at 1-800-222-TIPS or 911.
