VIPD Announces Parking Restrictions for V.I./P.R. Friendship Parade

The Virgin Islands Police Department (VIPD) advises the motoring public of the following parking restrictions and street closings scheduled for the V.I./Puerto Rico Friendship Parade, which will traverse through the town of Christiansted on Sunday, Oct. 9.
Parking Restrictions:
Effective 4 a.m., Sunday, Oct. 9, until the completion of the event, the following parking restrictions will be in effect:
Ø No parking on King Street and Hospital Street
Any vehicle found parked in the restricted areas will be ticketed and/or towed at the owner’s expense.
