Public Meetings Scheduled to Discuss VIPA Marine Tariff Changes

The Virgin Islands Port Authority (VIPA) will host public meetings to discuss proposed increases to its marine tariff. The meetings are scheduled as follows:
· St. Thomas: at 6 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 9, in the conference room on the third floor of the VIPA Administrative Building.
· St. John: at 6 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 10, in the Cleone H. Creque-Maynard Legislative Conference Room.
· St. Croix: at 6 p.m., Monday, Nov. 14, at the VIPA conference room on the second floor of the Henry E. Rohlsen Airport Terminal.
The public and the media are invited to attend these meetings. VIPA officials will present the proposed tariff increases, provide details about planned improvements for the territory’s seaports, and address any public concerns regarding the fee increases.
