GVI Plans Two Delinquent Property Auctions in 2017

The Office of the Lieutenant Governor will be conducting two auctions on delinquent properties in 2017. The first property auction will take place prior to June 2017. The second property auction will take place around November 2017.
Proper notification will be given to the owners of record for all properties selected to be auctioned, according to a press release issued Tuesday by the Office of the Lieutenant Governor.
Lt. Gov. Osbert E. Potter advises property owners that payment plans can be arranged by the Tax Collector’s Office for delinquent accounts. Individuals who have payment plans will not have their property listed to be auctioned. Properties that were involved in the most recent controversial property auctions will not be included in the upcoming auctions.
