DPNR to Host Public Meetings for Recreational Fishers

The Division of Fish and Wildlife will host meetings throughout the territory for all recreational fishers, according to a press release issued on Tuesday by the V.I. Department of Planning and Natural Resources. The issues to be discussed will be:
1) Recreational Licensing Program
2) Effort and Data Collection
3) Dolphin (Mahi) Regulations
4) Fish Aggregation Devices (FADs)
St. Croix from 6-10 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 20, at Great Hall, University of the Virgin Islands
St. Thomas from 6-10 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 21, at Windward Passage Hotel
Commissioner Dawn Henry greatly encourages the recreational fishing community to attend.
