Board of Elections to Conduct Audit of Three Primary Election Precincts

The St. Croix District Board of Elections will conduct an audit of three polling precincts of the 2016 Primary Election. The precincts selected from the 2016 Primary Elections are Alexander Henderson, Alfredo Andrews and Pearl B. Larsen schools.
The 2016 Primary Elections audit will be conducted at 5:30 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 11, at the St. Croix Elections Office. The purpose of the audit is to ensure the accuracy of the DS200 (tabulators). Board members will verify the number of ballots casted to the number of ballots recorded on machine tapes from the end of the night on Election Day.
Vice-Chairwoman Barbara Jackson-McIntosh is inviting the media, candidates and the public to view the process. She reminds the media and candidates that space is limited in the St. Croix conference room and asks that they limit individuals to one person at a time to view on their behalf.
For more information, contact the Elections System Office at 773-1021.
