The Election System of the U.S. Virgin Islands informs all registered voters that early voting will be available for Primary Election 2016. Voting will be conducted at the system’s offices in each district.
Early voting will be held on St. Croix at the office in Sunny Isles Annex Unit 4 (adjacent to the Social Security Office); on St. Thomas at 9200 Lockhart Gardens (above Banco Popular); and on St. John at the Marketplace, Suite II, starting on July 26 and ending on July 31. Voting will be held daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Supervisor of Elections Caroline F. Fawkes advises that "all first time voters must present identification when they come in to vote."
“The tabulation of votes cast during early voting may not be made before the close of the polls on Election Day,” said Fawkes. She also advises that, "No electioneering shall take place at the office polling sites as is the case at the polling sites on Election Day. The polling sites are campaign free zones."

The St. Thomas-St. John District Board of Elections is seeking high school graduates and college students to assist with the counting of ballots from Aug. 6 through Aug. 16.
All students must be registered voters in the St. Thomas-St. John District. They will receive a per-diem of $75.
