Esonica Veira, Miss Regal International USVI 2016, to Compete in Antiqua

Esonica Veira, Miss Regal International USVI 20016Pageant veteran Esonica Veira will represent the U.S. Virgin Islands at the inaugural Miss Regal International, which will be held in Antigua in August, where she will compete against over 50 other delegates from around the world.
Veira’s list of accomplishments in local and international pageantry is remarkable. She won the Hal Jackson Virgin Islands Talented Teen in 2005 and the Hal Jackson International Talented Teen later that year. She represented the U.S. Virgin Islands at the Miss America’s Outstanding Teen Pageant in 2006 and won an award for Outstanding Talent. She was crowned V.I. Carnival Queen in 2007, was runner up in the Miss Virgin Islands Universe Competition, represented the USVI at the Miss World Pageant in London, won the Miss US Paradise competition and competed in the Miss Supranational Pageant in Belarus.
In 2014, Veira was an ambassador once again and travelled to the Philippines to compete in the Miss Earth Pageant, winning Gold Medals (1st place) in the Talent Competition and as Best Teacher. She also won a group Bronze Medal.
She recently began her ambassadorial appearances as Miss Regal International U.S. Virgin Islands by appearing at the Houston Band Launch, and she participated in the Tempo Turns 10 Celebrations in New York.
Veira will travel to Antigua on July 18 and will spend over three weeks participating in various pageant related events and preliminary competitions. The finals will take place on Aug. 13.
