UVICELL to Hold Grant Writing Course

Individuals interested in learning the ins and outs of the grant writing process are urged to register early for an upcoming course — Introduction to Grant Writing. The course will be held from 6-9 p.m., Mondays and Wednesdays, beginning July 25. Sessions will be held at the University of the Virgin Islands Community Engagement and Lifelong Learning (UVICELL) Center on the St. Thomas Campus.
The classes will provide participants with practical information to successfully construct and complete a grant proposal. Topics will include: types of grants and funding, proposal basics, leveraging resources, budget construction and much more. The course is open to individuals from non-profit organizations, schools, government agencies and other public entities.
Space in the course is limited and registrations will not be accepted after Wednesday, July 13. For fees or more information on the program, call the UVICELL Center at 693-1100 or visit http://cell.uvi.edu.
