VIPD Commissioner Fires Both Police Chiefs

V.I. Police Commissioner Delroy Richards announced Wednesday that he has relieved both St. Croix Police Chief Arthur Hector and St. Thomas/St. John Police Chief Darren Foy of their duties.

Winsbut McFarlande has been designated acting St. Croix chief and Sgt. Jason Marsh has been named acting St. Thomas/St. John chief.

Tony Emanuel has been given direct oversight of the VIPD’s internal affairs and applicant screening bureau. Emmanuel is also continuing in his current duties as acting director of the Office of Professional Standards in the VIPD.
