VIPD, Family Seek Missing Woman

Creola JonesThe V.I. Police Department and family members asked the public Thursday for help in locating Creola Jones, a 41-year-old woman who has been missing for several weeks.

According to the VIPD news release, Jones disappeared after arriving on St. Croix with her husband. The news release did not specify where she came from. She did not call her mother as often as she used too and after several weeks the mother became worried.

Jones was described as a gentle and caring woman whose disappearance is out of character.

She is approximately 5 feet, 7 inches tall and has black dreadlock hair and brown eyes.

Police asked anyone who sees Jones or knows anything about her disappearance to contact 911 immediately, and advise that it is an emergency. Further information is available by calling Detective Kai Joseph at 340-712-6047 or Detective Naomi Joseph 340-712-6092.
