Errol Joseph Dies at 44

The family and fiancée of the late Errol Joseph is saddened to announce the passing of their beloved fiancé, son, brother and nephew accidentally while on vacation on St. Croix on Jan. 1. He was 44 years of age.
Born on St. Croix on Nov. 19, 1971, as a young boy he moved to New York with his family. He attended New York Public Schools, and after graduation, he began his career working in his trade. He became a master carpenter employed by a large construction company in New York City, N.Y.
He leaves to mourn his passing his son, Xavier; stepson, Tashan; daughters: Zalika, Zennier, Ajya, Sade and Ava; granddaughters: Ki’Ari and Aniah; parents Alfred (Poppy) and Monaly Joseph; beloved fiancée, Shaneka Charles; adopted son, Shakiem Walker; adopted daughter, Claudasha Weaver; brother, Shem (Tony); and sisters: Ila, Sharon, Olympia (Dee Dee), Brenda, Kizzie (Debbie) and their spouses.
Other survivors include his Aunt Emelda, Uncle Errol and Uncle Sparrow; several nieces and nephews on whom he doted and spent many happy hours with, as well as cousins and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held from 3-5 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 12, at Divine Funeral Chapel after which Errol Joseph will return to New York where his Homegoing Service will be held at St. James Church, Bronx, New York. He will be laid to rest at Kensico Cemetery, Valhalla, N.Y.
