The V.I. Police Department executed an arrest warrant Tuesday, charging a St. Croix woman with driving under the influence, the VIPD reported.
According to police, Joyce Herelle, 62, of Estate Monbijou was arrested at 8:45 a.m. Tuesday.
The warrant was issued in connection with an incident that took place Aug. 30 in Estate St. John. According to police, Herelle was caught driving recklessly with a blood alcohol level of .137.
Bail in the case was set at $1,000 and Herelle was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending her advice of rights hearing.
