Atala Maura Eugene died on Nov. 25.
She is survived by her spouse, Francis Cuthbert Eugene; children: Monica, Marciana, Sanny, Simeon, Augustus and Rayan Eugene, and Melvin Marcarius; grandchildren: Sean, Shamia, Sameer, Junior and Ziar; sisters: Luctia (St. Croix), Titin and Tartar (St. Lucia); brothers: Anthony, Peter, Pinky, Cyril, Mork, Nesco and Phillip (St. Lucia); aunty, Justin (St. Lucia), brothers-in-law: Butlin, Moses, Lewis, Celius and Anday; sisters-in-law: Martha, Elane, Lilly and Joyclyn; nieces: Marlyn, Sarah, Sandy, Kadi, Fabi, Rosemaria, Cynthia, Karen, Marie Helen, Sophia, Valarie, Nathalie, Neolisha and Nasha; nephews: Lucus, Michael, Vincent, Alfred, Allen and Dominique; cousin, Magdelynia; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held from 3-5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 18, at Divine Funeral Services.
A second viewing will be held at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 21, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Mt. Pleasant. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
