Jay Ilene Nix of Estate St. George died on Nov. 23. She was 74 years old.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Braxton; mother, Emily Braxton; and sisters: Marion Moore and Ann Lea.
She is survived by her husband: Warren K. Nix Sr.; sons: Warren Kenny Nix and Jeffrey B. Nix; grandchildren: Sabreen Adul- Lateef and Zyan Nix; brother, Sylvester Hazel; brothers-in-law: Nathaniel Nix Jr. and Clyde Nix Sr.; sister-in-law, Lisa Nix; special friends: Joyce Nix, Betty Nix, Linda Chandler, William and Joyce Mitchell; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A Memorial Service will take place at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 13, at St. Croix Reformed Church, Kingshill.
