Patrick Clarke died on Dec. 2.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Nadia Mitchell.
He is survived by his daughters: Aurea Clarke, Cathalina John-Baptiste, Amarylis Mitchell and Merlinda Clark; sons: Zion Makonnen, also known as “Black Nicholas Clarke;" sisters: Cynthia Clarke-Louis and Susan Clarke-Andrew; brothers: Frederick, Clement, John, Warner and Wensley Clarke, Kensen and Bertram Grainger; stepchildren: Sophia Evans, Monica Children, Christine Mitchel, Marcellina Oculien and Pacline Ranches; nieces: Kay Nicholas, Sharlin Mason, Onetta Herman, Wendy Moonie, Andria Clarke, and Vanessa, Cleopatra Jules and Ricker Clarke; special friends: the Mitchel family, the crew at Serita’s Bar and Marina’s Place, Prisca Charles, and the Clarke family of Choiseul; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held from 3-5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 11, at Divine Funeral Services.
A second viewing will be held at 9:30 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. on Monday , Dec. 14, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Frederiksted. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
