Celia Elizabeth Everington Dies at 62

Celia Elizabeth Everington Celia Elizabeth Everington, who resided in Estate Mount Pleasant, Frederiksted, was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, Nov. 16. She was 62 years old. Celia taught at the Alfredo Andrews for the past 30 years and was a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Agatha “Edol” John Baptiste and her father, Charlesworth “Charlie” Everington.
She is survived by her sons: Michael McIntosh and Ronald Pantophlet; life partner, Clifton Pantophlet; brothers: Cecil and Carley Everington; grandchildren: Aliyah McIntosh, Renee Pantophlet, Kahreem Pantophlet, Michael Anthony McIntosh, Malik McIntosh, Rackell McIntosh and Rainah Pantophlet; uncle, Fabian “ Ted” Robin; nephew, Dean Everington; nieces: Carissa Everington and Crystal Everington; daughter-in-law, Kareema Pantophlet; sister-in-law, Ioney Everington; and many family and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will take place from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 24, at James Memorial Funeral Home.
A second viewing will take place at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 25, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
