Priscilla Amelia Browne Dies

Priscilla Amelia Browne Priscilla Amelia Browne died on Nov. 1.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Monford Browne; daughters: Sarah Harvey and Susanna Kirby; son, Carlton Hughes; son-in-law, Desmond Kirby; and grandchildren: Jason Joseph, Jones Kirby and Veronica Thomas-Henry.
She is survived by her daughters: Mary Donovan and Priscilla “Faith” Anthony; sons: Samuel Humphreys Sr., Steadroy Meade and Lorriston Daniel (adopted); daughters-in-law: Irene Humphreys and Goldine Meade; sisters: Clarice Ida Anthony and Doris Ambrose; stepchildren: Ursula Thomas, Pearline Humphreys, Godfrey Humphreys, Verna Humphreys-Williams and Ricky Humphreys; special grandchildren-in-law: Eugene Jeffers and Randy Felix; grandchildren: Valerie Iotie Barthley, Veronica Browne, Carmella Christian, Genevieve Tonge, Devon Harvey, Allison Lambert, Uriel Charlie Joseph, Hellerine Joseph, Icilma Yearwood, Rowan Jeffers, Jerome Humphreys, Sheralyn Joseph, Ives Kirby, Velma Brown, Marion Kirby, Danny Kirby, Sherlene Humphreys, Jonnile Humphreys-Baker, Samuel Humphreys Jr., Cheryl Joseph, Derrick Meade, Edson Meade and Kerry Williams.
She is also survived by nieces and nephews: Yourine Charles Hector, Naomi Williams, Johnny Williams, Nelvine Charles and Victorine Smith; adopted grandson, Melville Boddie; godchildren: Carolie Browne, Hyacinth Hector, Dorian Francis, Cynthia Francis, Conni Philo, Jean Thomas and Hazel Jeremiah; cousins and other extended family in Antigua, the U.S.V.I., St. Kitts and the U.S. Mainland: Veronica Jeffrey, Urel Caleb and family, the Ambrose family, the Tonge family, the Humphreys family and the Anthony family; special friends: Zephenia Allen, Leova Harris, Patsy Roberts, Citronella Scott (N.Y.), Sharon Griffith (N.Y.), Eldena Henry (N.Y.),the staff and residents of the LSS Flamboyant Gardens Housing Community, Friends of the Seatons and Glanvilles Community; as well as many other great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing at 9 a.m. and a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 20, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Barren Spot. Interment will follows at Kingshill Cemetery.
