Gov. Kenneth Mapp has nominated Theresa Frorup-Ali to the Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital and Medical Center Board of Directors, according to Government House. The appointment is for a three-year term, which she will serve until the appointment of her successor.
Frorup is an accountant and certified payroll specialist. She is a graduate of St. Croix Central High School, with a master’s degree in business administration and an associate’s degree in accounting from the University of the Virgin Islands.
In his letter to Senate President Neville James about the nomination, Mapp said, “It is my pleasure to ask the advice and consent of the 31st Legislature on the nomination of Mrs. Frorup-Ali. A prompt and favorable confirmation will enhance the board’s ability to meet its busy agenda and serve the people of the U.S. Virgin Islands.”
