Helino Rivera Cruz Dies

Helino Rivera CruzHelino Rivera Cruz died on Oct. 15.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Theodosa Ramos; father, Juan Cruz; sisters: Isabel Halls and Sofia Carrasquillo; and brothers: Juan Cruz Rivera and Julio Cruz.
He is survived by his spouse, Leonida Cruz; daughter, Angelita Cruz-Tuitt; stepdaughters: Marcela Cruz De Schjang and Elizabeth Castillo; sons: Angelino De Jesus Cruz and Juan Enrique Cruz; stepsons: Roberto Cruz and Alberto Pickering; son-in-law, Jason Tuitt; grandchildren: Jusenia, Jason, Yasmin and Josiah Tuitt, and Elijah Cruz; sisters: Iris Cruz and Virginia Carrasquillo; brothers: Elaido Ramos and Luis Carrasquillo;
He is also survived by nieces: Grace, Cindy, Marsha, Nancy, Elizabeth, Sandra, Carolyn, Michelle, Lisette, Andrea, Sonia, Juanita, Marisol, Maria, Brenda, Tysha, Yesenia, Margarita and Gladys; nephews: Tony, Eddie, Miguel, Rudy, Ray, Angel, Luis, Edwin, Randall, Eliakim, Ishmael, Elijah and Raul; special friends: Emilio Edwards, Velma Cruz-Drew (mother of his children) and Dave Schjang Sr.; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and special friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held from 3-5 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 22, at Divine Funeral Services.
There will be a second viewing held at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 23, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Estate Mt. Pleasant. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
