The family and friends of Joan Bernadette Nelson announce her passing in the fullness of life on Wednesday, Oct. 7. The memorial service will be held Friday, Oct. 16, at Caballero Rivero Southern Funeral Home, 15011 W. Dixie Hwy, North Miami, FL 33181. The service and repast will take place from 4-7 p.m.
At a later date, the family will hold a memorial service on the Island of St. Croix, USVI.
Joan leaves to cherish her memory, her children: Natalie and Knolly Wiltshire, Billie Jean and Eugene Nelson; four grandchildren: Tishay Warren, Chanella Monrose, Malik Monrose and Diamond Warren; and three great grandchildren: Nyree, Za’ire and Jaden. She is also survived by her brothers: Anthony and Peter Benacia; sister, Jenny Benacia; sister-in-law, Grace Benacia; and many family and friends throughout the Caribbean and the U.S.A.
