Charles Rudolph Davis Dies at 81

Charles Rudolph DavisCharles Rudolph Davis was born Oct. 13, 1933 and died Oct. 3, 2015.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth C. Davis; father, Archibald Davis; son, Garvin Davis; aunt, Evelyn Coulsen; grandmother, Susanna Bastian; brother-in-law, Charles R. Davis; and nephew, Mark Davis.
He is survived by his daughters: Ruth “Nadine” Glasgow, Janet Loten ( N.Y.), Maria Davis (P.R.), Colette Davis, Charlene Davis and Laurisa Davis; sons: Harvin Davis, Oken Davis, Neil Davis, Nevin Davis and Clyde Davis; daughters-in-law: Carol “Cece” Davis, Qunitta Davis, and Shennett Davis; sons-in-law: Wayne Glasgow and Tony Loten; and 31 grandchildren: Delia Suarez Richardson (Gabriel), Amoy Christopher, Cheverne Christopher Modeste (Andrew), Autumn Reindhart Davis, Troy Jack (Kimberly), Devon Jack (Joy), Jewel Jack, Ashley M. Wattley, Hanif Andrews, Ashim Andrews, Leonard Wilson, Jasmine M. Perez, Niel Davis Jr.,Kinsasha Davis, Sajada Davis, Jeremy Davis, Nevin Davis Jr., Debango Graham Laurisa Graham, Latifah Graham, Blakeshan Graham, Lakeshan Graham, Jahkeshan Graham, Renelle Davis, Reneisha Davis, Shania Davis and Shamaal Davis.
He is also survived by sister, Dolores Davis; brother, Mortimer Davis; nephews: Nyles Davis, Lloyd Davis and Kevin Davis; nieces: Bernice Davis Prince, DeSilva Davis, Charise Davis Eleanora and Debra Gulledge; 10 great-grandchildren; special cousins: Sheila Coulsen, Denise Miles and Claire Roker and family; extended family: Amos Sealey, Edward Stevens, American Legion Post 85 and 133, and the Women’s Auxiliary; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 13, at American Legion Hall, Christiansted.
