Police were called at 5:14 a.m. Wednesday and officers responded to a residence in Estate Diamond Ruby to the report of a burglary, the V.I. Police Department reported.
The homeowner, a 73-year-old woman, told officers that a man had gained entry into her home through a window, sexually molested her and took a 32-inch television from the residence.
The case is being investigated by the Criminal Investigation Bureau.
