The Virgin Islands Waste Management Authority will reduce hours for its facilities and offices for Emancipation Day and the Fourth of July weekend at its landfill, transfer stations and convenience center, the authority announced.
St. Thomas: Bovoni Landfill: July 3, 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.; July 4, 6 a.m. to noon; July 5, 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
St. John: Susannaberg Transfer Station: July 3, 7 a.m. to noon; July 4, 7 a.m. to noon; July 5, 7 a.m. to noon.
St. Croix: St. Croix Transfer Station: July 3, 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.; July 4, 6 a.m. to 1 p.m.; July 5, 6 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Peter’s Rest Convenience Center: July 3, 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.; July 4, 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.; July 5, 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Administrative offices on all three islands will be closed Friday. All facilities and administrative offices will resume regular business hours Monday.
