Police on St. Croix arrested two men wanted in separate crimes, the V.I. Police Department reported Friday.
Khadeem Rosario, a 20-year-old Hispanic male who goes by the alias of "Gapo," was wanted for second-degree burglary/domestic violence. Rosario, who is known to frequent the Paradise Mill Apartments in Frederiksted, turned in himself in to police without incident.
Along with the burglary charge, Rosario was charged with contempt of court, destruction of property, trespassing and disturbing the peace by making threats. After his advise of rights hearing, held Thursday, bail was set at $25,000 and he was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections.
Akeem Herbert , a 24-year-old resident of the D. Hamilton Jackson Terrace Housing Community, was charged with first degree burglary, grand larceny\ and aggravated assault and battery/domestic violence. Herbert, who goes by the alias of "Creams," turned himself in to police Thursday evening.
Herbert was held without bail pending his advise of rights hearing.
