Thieves Steal Car in Frederiksted

Early Tuesday morning a man walked into the Wilbur Francis Command in Frederiksted to report that he’d been robbed at gunpoint in the vicinity of Rhythms.

According to the victim, he and a female friend were sitting in his car when he saw another car pull-up behind them. Two masked men approached with guns drawn and commanded them to get out of the car.

Once the victims got out, the men left in both vehicles and headed towards the Frederiksted town area.

The victims described the men as being dressed in all black clothing with masks covering their faces, but provided no other details.

The stolen vehicle is described as a 2013 red, four-door Ford Focus with the license plate CEQ- 636.

Anyone with information concerning the stolen vehicle or who has seen it can call the Criminal Investigation Bureau at 1-340-712-6042, the 911 emergency call center or the anonymous tip service, Crime Stoppers USVI, at 1-800-222-8477. Information provided will be kept in the strictest confidence.
