V.I. Society of CPAs Is Offering $3,000 Scholarship to Accounting Student

The Virgin Islands Society of Certified Public Accountants (VISCPA) is offering a $3,000 scholarship to a minority accounting student attending the University of the Virgin Islands. In association with the American Institute of CPAs Foundation, the VISCPAs annually awards an outstanding minority student with this scholarship to encourage the selection of accounting as a his or her major and, ultimately, the choice of the accounting profession as a career.
For over four decades, this program has provided close to $15 million in scholarships to approximately 8,000 minority accounting scholars.
To apply for the joint VISCPA/AICPA minority scholarship go to: www.ThisWayToCPA.com, and complete the application before the deadline of April 1.
