The body of a 29-year-old man was found Monday morning on a west end beach, the V.I. Police Department said, and the victim had at least one deep cut to the back of his neck.
Police have identified the victim as Curdellius Monchary.
The body was discovered in shallow water just south of Rainbow beach at about 10:30 a.m.
Monchary’s family last saw him at about 7 p.m. Sunday. They reported him missing about 9:30 a.m. Monday.
