Jureen Maria Francis Todman Dies at 78

Jureen Maria Francis Todman, better known as “Jureen Todman,” died on Nov. 7, at Schneider Regional Medical Center. She was 78 years old.
She is survived by her sons: Jens E. Todman and Maurice L. Todman; daughter, Monique A. Todman Matthews; daughter-in-law, Cheryl A. Todman; grandchildren: Jennelye, Jennell and Jecoi Todman, Nikysha and Aniqua Matthews, and Will Smith; great-grandchildren: Jeleah and Jason Cargill; and nieces: Patrice, Paulette and Michelle Joshua, Mia Hodge, Patricia Joshua, Mona, Laverne, and Michelle Francis, Lydia Jackson, Nanette Duran, Michelle S. Francis and Celina, Terry and Faye Francis.
She is also survived by nephews: Michael Francis, Vance “Sonny” Francis Jr., Filman and Inocencio Duran, Michael Haynes and Earl Haynes Jr., Calvin Jr., Dale and Vance Francis, Keith and Raymond Francis, and Anthony Petersen; special cousins: June Steinbergen, Gerard Steinbergen, Gloria Miller, Joyce Lewis Miller and Audrey Steinbergen; special friends: Alexis Gerard, Muriel Jackson, Mavis “Queenie” Wilson, Vernelle de Lagarde, Zeathea Milliner, Zephenia Fahie, Rufus “Cefus” Hodge, Sheridon Questel Sr. and Oswin A. Sewer; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
The viewing will take place at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 23, at Wesley Methodist Church. Interment will be at Western Cemetery.
